A Book of Lives is the debut album from Hen Fruit Safari. This album is an amalgamation of un-lived experience. Written almost entirely outside of the first person, these are songs about people who had to keep going, people who couldn’t, and other wordless dead, named and unnamed. All songs are through-tracked, with no comped parts, no digital instruments, and (with the exception of a couple percussion tracks) only single dynamic microphones.
